At least a dozen students could be seen walking outside the school building and standing on the roof of Mesivta of Lakewood, at 801 Kennedy Blvd., Thursday night.

The online publication Voz Iz Neias?, a news site catering to the Observant Jewish community, first published a report saying that there were 150 students sleeping and learning at the school.

On Monday, Murphy announced that all public and private schools in the state should close by Wednesday as part of a statewide effort to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
